How do you know she wasn't impregnated by a four year old boy?

[edit]

There seems to be much interest in turning this article into some kind of Femnazi cause celebre, talking about how this woman was allegedly raped. The simple fact is that NOBODY KNOWS who fathered her son. For all anyone knows, a neighbor boy the same age as Medina was also experiencing early puberty. Maybe there was something in the water back then. Maybe, one day, a game of Doctor between four year olds got carried away. Is that likely? No. But the simple fact is that YOU DON'T KNOW, AND NOBODY KNOWS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.121.192.199 (talk) 00:53, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have brain worms. The odds of someone this young having become sexually mature is very small, and then the odds of that happening and getting pregnant are astoundingly small. Are we really going to entertain the idea that yet another sexually mature child got involved and they both decided of their own volition to not just curiously touch or whatever, but to have penetrative sex? I don't think its some "feminazi" thing to assume that she was assaulted. That's a pretty easy assumption to make. Idk why this is something you find important enough to go out of your way and defend. You're imaging a hypothetical situation in which very young children are having penetrative sex with each other in order just to go '
"Uhm, actually, you don't 100% know that four year old was raped". Reevaluate your life please. 75.108.131.173 (talk) 05:50, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Extremely offensive insensitivity

[edit]

The individual written about in this article was sexually abused. The first paragraph does not adequately portray the severe harm imposed upon this CHILD. The use of the word "woman" in the description provided in the first paragraph is sickeningly inaccurate and inappropriate. The extreme insensitivity on the part of the writer is disturbing.

Having gone through precocious puberty does not render a CHILD a "woman".

A better way of describing the situation: The individual written about in this article is the only 5 year old CHILD to have given birth, which was performed surgically through cesarean section. She tragically became pregnant as a consequence of SEXUAL ABUSE. She had precocious puberty such that the sexual abuse resulted in a pregnancy.

Recognition of the severity of this situation is far from adequate. ALL children have the right to safe, healthy, and nurturing childhoods. The female human being written about in this article HAD THE RIGHT TO A SAFE, HEALTHY, and NURTURING CHILDHOOD. In no way should sexual abuse ever be normalized. When abuse is underlying a situation, the situation must be presented appropriately and with great care. What happened to the female human being written about in this article was severely abusive. Who ever wrote the article is extremely insensitive.

I believe the article refers to her as a woman not to imply she was a woman when she became a mother, but because the article is about someone who is a woman now. It is referring to her, a woman, in the present tense. That's pretty standard practice. 75.108.131.173 (talk) 05:52, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
